The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the week is Colby (120919).  He would love to meet with you today as he is very anxious to find his new home!   Colby has not always had an easy life, as he came to us with a fractured back leg that was not healing well.  He has since had additional surgery and recuperation in a foster home and is now this sweet fellow is looking for a new family to give him all the love possible.  He is quite affectionate and loves to talk about his day and how he is feeling.  We don’t have too much insight on his past history with other cats, dogs, or children, but we think Colby may get along just fine with them.   He can be dominate with other cats so might do best with females.  Since he likes so much attention he may do best as the only feline in the household.  He does enjoy the back of his butt being scratched and his belly rubbed.  He will show you that he loves it!  If you would love a sweet and expressive boy like Colby in your life you can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722.  Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday.  Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee of $35 includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
