The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Week is Nicolai (shelter # 129022). He is an easy going older Shepherd/Smooth Collie mix who is looking for a new home. He enjoys spending time with his favorite people and loves to go on daily walks and adventures. Despite his age he is full of life and always on the go. Nicolai can be picky with his canine friends and may not be a good candidate for the dog park, but he still enjoys hanging out with his close canine friends. If you have a resident dog it will be necessary to have a pet meet prior to adoption. He is one smart guy and will need to be supervised when outdoors as he will quickly find his way out of the yard. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Nicolai’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
