Texas (shelter#130038) is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Week.  He is a four year old Terrier weighing in at about six and half lbs.  He just arrived from Merced, CA as a part of our Second Chance Program and now is ready to settle down in his forever home in the Metro Portland area.  He received a bath after his picture was taken so now has shinny hair to go with his bright eyes.  He is one hundred percent cute, walks well on a leash and now is ready to join you in neighborhood walks.  You can visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday.  Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
