The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Week is Athena (shelter #128316). She is a very beautiful five year old Manx kitty who is looking for that perfect home! She has been known to be a very loyal companion to her owners, waiting at the door to greet them when they come home and cuddling up next to them at night. Athena has roomed with children but she didn’t prefer to be around them too much. She can also become really overwhelmed in chaotic and loud environments, so a home with older cat-savvy children, if any at all would be best for her. Athena does like lots of love and to sit by your side, but not to be held, and probably would prefer to be the only pet in your home as she likes to receive all the attention! If you would love a sweet and very sincere lady in your life, Athena may be the gal for you. Athena’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
