Portland Dog of the Week – Adopt Shaggy!
Shaggy is a lovable dog that loves spending time with his human companions. Adopt this ultra-special dog today! Thanks, Callie
Shaggy (shelter #131391) is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Week. He LOVES to be around the family and would like to find a home where he can be the center of attention. He needs a patient person who will help build his confidence and continue his socialization. Shaggy is an active two and half year old bearded collie mix who requires plenty of daily exercise, otherwise he may be prone to picking up new hobbies, such as de-fluffing throw pillows. He has a good history with other dogs, but no history with kitties or kids, so it may be best for his new home to have older, respectful kids and dog-savvy cats, if any. This sweet, silly boy is looking for a devoted home, one that will continue his training and socialization and provide him with unconditional love. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
His adoption fee of $150 includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
